AS OF AUGUST 1ST, 2020, LOUISIANA PHYSICIANS CAN NOW RECOMMEND MEDICAL CANNABIS FOR ANY CONDITION THAT THEY CONSIDER DEBILITATING TO THEIR PATIENT.
Finding a Recommending Physician
As of August 1st, 2020, any Louisiana licensed Medical Doctor in good standing with the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners may recommend Medical Cannabis to their patients.
This means that your own family physician or primary care provider can recommend Cannabis for you, but if you need assistance finding a recommending physician, we’re happy to help.
